(The ancient future soul hip hop group)
A musical duo with unique Hip Hop/fusion flavor from the ancient/future, consists of Luna Zaka and Narayan from Zion. Blending a powerful, unique and definitive style both in music and branding. In Ramuun's music there is a depth of poetic, rhythmic and melodic ideas using international sounds and digital synthesis in a fat yet smooth Hip Hop form. There is a unworldly yet earthly feel to their music, you can here the indigenous ancestors of our terrestrial past and our extraterrestrial ancestors of the ancient/future collaborating to make each song a journey to uplift, empower and inspire.

Luna Zaka, Lithuania born, vocalist/poet/composer/photographer/multi-instrumentalist is creative force. Her voice, lyrics and composition are absolutely poetic, many say her sound seems to be other worldly. With many years of training and her natural melodic precision she has a very jazzy feel with RnB/soul depth in a wide rang of unique vocal qualities that are reminiscent of tribal chanting and throat singing.

Narayan From Zion, California born, producer/MC/engineer/composer/artist has a rap style that carries a powerful message in a tight rhythmic package. His cadence and lyrical content is totally unique as is his beat production and musical composition. With 27 years of committed study of music in many forms he has extensive percussion, keyboard, guitar, clarinet, native flute and vocal experience which he applies generously to the production, recording, mixing and mastering of each song, and every live show.

Together as a band and as life partners their love is evident both for their music and each other. Their passion for life and the dedication to change the world through positive creation is palpable in everything they do. From videos, photos, art, graphic design, fasion and of corse the music which they do almost all themselves you can really feel who they are and what they represent. RAMUUN is currently putting the finishing touches on Verbal Hypnosis, their first album. After over 2 years in the studio with more than 20 songs in the making, they have created a very unique and definitive style.

“Sonically, just imagine if Die Antwoord was from California and was stirred into a cauldron with Erykah Badu, Hiatus Kaiyote, and Norah Jones, with seasonings of a unique stand-out rap-voice, as recognizable as Cypress Hill, The Beastie Boys, or other such legends whose voices can be clearly distinguished. And yet, these references do no justice in describing how RAMUUN actually sounds. You just have to listen. It’s like what you might hear on another planet.”
